The floor and the kitchen

Built for tables, waiters and a busy kitchen

A restaurant is not a counter with chairs. Orders arrive in rounds, from waiters on the floor, for a kitchen that needs to know exactly what is new.

Tables that order in rounds

A table orders more as the evening goes on. Each round goes to the kitchen as its own slip, numbered 12-1, 12-2, 12-3, so the kitchen always knows what is new.

A waiter's phone is a till

Waiters sign in on their own phones, take the order at the table and send it to the kitchen. The counter gets a popup and a bell for every order a waiter sends.

Kitchen slips that fit your printer

Slips print the moment an order is sent, on 58 mm or 80 mm thermal printers or a 76 mm impact printer in the kitchen. You set how many characters a line holds, and every slip fits.

Family or single, in big letters

A family's takeaway prints FAMILY in big letters under the order number, because a family's food goes first. A single guest gets a small "Single".

A dish called off, never quietly removed

Once the kitchen has a dish, it can only be voided, with a reason and a name. Not made puts its ingredients back on the shelf; made counts them as waste.

Dine in, takeaway and delivery

Every order is marked by how it is served, with a table or without one, and the whole team sees where it has got to.

The bill and the drawer

Every rupee accounted for

The owner judges a POS on one thing: whether the day's cash can be trusted. These are the parts that make it so.

Cash, card, transfer or udhaar

Settle a bill the way the guest pays. Cash records what was handed over and the change given. Udhaar puts the bill on a regular's tab.

Udhaar that clears itself

See who owes what, biggest first. When a regular pays, the money clears their oldest bills first and goes into the open shift.

Discounts with a reason

Every discount, in rupees or a percentage, is given for a reason from your own list, so the owner sees who gave what, and why.

Charges by kind of order

A service charge on dine in, packaging on takeaway. Each charge applies only to the kind of order it belongs to.

A blind count at close

The shift opens with a float. At close the cash is counted first and compared after, so nobody counts toward the number they expect.

Mistakes corrected, not hidden

Cancel an unpaid order or correct a paid bill, always with a reason. A paid bill is never edited, only corrected, and every change is kept on the order.

Deliveries

Riders, followed to the door

Delivery is where restaurants lose money quietly: a wrong charge, cash still with a rider, an address typed three ways.

Every step, on the rider's phone

Assign a rider, and they mark Picked up and Delivered on their own phone. The counter receives the cash when they are back, and sees whose cash is still out.

Delivery charged by the km

Charge one amount, or a rate per km. Each saved address keeps its own km, and delivery is free above an amount you set.

The charge can be the rider's pay

If you pay riders with the delivery charge, switch it on. The drawer, the rider's screen and the owner's reports all account for it, and the guest's bill does not change.

Stock and the owner

Know what each plate really costs

Sales tell you how busy you were. Food cost, waste and leakage tell you what you kept.

Recipes take stock off the shelf

A recipe for each dish and size. When a slip goes to the kitchen, its ingredients come off the shelf, and extras like extra cheese change what a plate takes.

Food cost you can trust

Stock is valued at the average price you actually paid, so each dish's food cost is real, and it is shown against your target.

Waste and counts

Waste is recorded with its reason. A stock count sets the shelf, and any shortage shows up as its own figure instead of vanishing into the food cost.

The Owner view

Sales, gross profit, food cost, waste, your busiest hours and where money leaked, for any day or month, beside the same stretch before it.

The day on your WhatsApp

The owner gets the last day's sales, the drawer and the best seller on WhatsApp, and a weekly and a monthly report too.

Keeps going when the internet drops

The device marked as your till keeps taking orders offline. They reach Reslota by themselves when the connection is back, and none is counted twice.

Questions

What restaurant owners ask about a POS

How much does restaurant POS software cost with Reslota?

Reslota POS is Rs 3,000 a month per restaurant, with no charge per counter, per waiter or per order. Reslota POS AI, which adds the AI on WhatsApp, is Rs 5,000, and Reslota AI Pro, which also takes table bookings, is Rs 7,000. Every plan starts with 7 days free and no card.

Does Reslota work for a restaurant with tables?

Yes. A dine in order sits on its table, and the table orders in rounds all evening, each round its own kitchen slip. Counter and takeaway orders without a table work the same way.

Can waiters take orders on their phones?

Yes. Every waiter signs in on their own phone, takes the order at the table and sends it to the kitchen. Settling and printing the bill stay with the counter.

Does it handle deliveries and riders?

Yes. A delivery keeps the guest's address, a rider is assigned and marks Picked up and Delivered, and the counter receives the cash when the rider is back. The charge can be one amount or by the km.

Is Reslota FBR or PRA integrated?

Not yet. It is on our plan, and nothing on this page claims a tax integration. If your restaurant must report through FBR or PRA today, tell us first and we will tell you honestly where it stands.

What happens when the internet goes down?

The device you mark as the till keeps taking orders and printing slips. When the connection is back, the orders reach Reslota by themselves and none is counted twice. Waiters' phones and the WhatsApp AI need a connection.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Reslota runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops. A small Windows helper on the counter computer sends slips and bills to your USB or network receipt printers.

Is the AI included in every plan?

No. The AI answering your WhatsApp is on Reslota POS AI (Rs 5,000) and Reslota AI Pro (Rs 7,000). Reslota POS on its own runs the till and does not answer guests on WhatsApp.
