POS software price in Pakistan, 2026
POS software in Pakistan is sold three ways: a monthly subscription, a one-time licence, or a free version that earns its money elsewhere. The price on the page is rarely the whole cost. This guide covers how each is priced, the costs owners find out about later, the questions worth asking, and what Reslota costs. Every figure comes from a seller's own public page, linked beside it, as published on 28 September 2026.
How it is priced
Which one works out cheapest depends on how long you keep it and how many counters you run.
The usual model now. You pay each month, normally per branch, and updates are included. Mint POS lists Rs 2,499 a month for one counter billed yearly, or Rs 3,499 month to month. Granet Pro lists Rs 2,999 to Rs 9,999 a month per branch.

You pay once and install it on a computer. Mint POS says these have ranged from Rs 15,000 to Rs 80,000, and that subscriptions are now the norm. Ask what updates and support cost once it is installed.

Some sellers give a basic version away and charge for the rest. myPOS offers a free version without support, and quotes its paid plans by locations and features.

The costs that come later
These are the lines that turn a Rs 3,000 plan into a much bigger month. The figures are one seller's, to show the size of each; ask every seller for theirs.
A price per branch usually covers a set number of counters and staff. Granet Pro includes 1 terminal and 5 users, then charges Rs 1,000 a month per extra terminal and Rs 500 per extra user.

A receipt printer at least, and sometimes a till computer, a cash drawer or a barcode scanner. Ask whether the software needs special hardware or runs on what you own.
If a POS sends WhatsApp or SMS messages to your guests, someone pays for each one. Ask how many a month are included and what each extra one costs.
Before you pay
Ask them in writing. A seller who answers all six clearly has nothing to hide.
For your branch, with every counter, user and add-on you need, not the starting price.
And what it covers: your menu, your printers and training, or only access to the software.
Outages are part of the week. Ask what still works offline, and what happens to the orders taken while it is down.
Included, an add-on at a monthly price, or not available yet. All three answers exist.
Ask for the notice period, and whether your orders and customer list come with you.

Questions
Most is sold by the month, per branch. The published prices we found in September 2026 run from about Rs 2,500 to Rs 10,000 a month, before extras such as more counters, setup, tax invoicing or an owner app. Free versions exist, usually without support.
It can be over several years. Check what updates and support cost after you have paid, and whether it runs only on the computer it was installed on. A monthly plan includes updates, and you can stop paying when it stops suiting you.
